What's New at the ACS?

Well, I see the autographed book is still for sale, as well as conference tapes. If you haven't had a chance yet, the conference tapes are really great, as well as a great gift idea for Christmas.

If you're interested in the Catholic Worker Movement we have the book by the Zwicks, whom Dale interviewed in a recent Gilbert magazine, interesting people, as well as Chestertonians.

Do you drink coffee or decaf each morning? Why not do as I do and use a Chesterton mug? It's actually quite inspirational. The quote on it is: "Daybreak is a never-ending glory...getting out of bed is a never-ending nuisance." Which I can totally relate to.

So check out the ACS site.

  1. I forgot to mention that there is a great beer mug and bumper sticker, too. And you support the ACS when you buy our merchandise, so feel free to get all your Christmas presents here!

  2. I have that coffee cup, and the one caveat I'd make is that you should never place it on a crowded desk. Because of its shape, it topples easily, and my desk blotter now more resembles a giant crusty coffee stain than an actual desk blotter.

Other than that, it's a great mug. It's also a great conversation starter for whenever someone says, "Duhhhhh...who's Chesterton?"

The limited edition print of Top Meadow, Chesterton's house, by Julie Dailey, who is married to some dude who calls himself the editor of the World's Greatest Magazine, also would make an excellent gift!

  4. I just ordered that mug a couple days ago, along with a copy of Dale's "Common Sense 101" and my very first ACS membership (with "Gilbert" subscription). :D

I can't wait for the stuff to arrive!

    :woohoo:

  5. I should add that I wear a shirt that says:

    "I'm NOT a morning person."

  6. Then this mug is really made for you, Trub!

I've never had tipping trouble with my mug. However, because my computer is on my desk, there is NEVER a coffee cup on my desk. It's over there, on top the filing cabinet, safe and sound.
