Dale is like those people in Ray Bradbury's book Fahrenheit 451 who memorize whole books to keep the literary tradition alive, because all books have been banned.

A feat I find amazing. The footnotes (an unChestertonian thing to do, by the way) are incredible. But I am glad he did footnote it, because I already discovered something in there that I did not know existed, an interview with Gilbert AND Frances. I'll have to get my hands on that.
