New Leaf Theater in Lincoln Park, IL puts on The Man Who Was Thursday by G.K. Chesterton and adapted by Bilal Dardai for a new audience. Tickets available until November 21, 2009.
I talk first with Jessica Hutchinson, the director of the play, and then with Deb Lillig, who attended the play to find out more about how this 100 year old play came to life.
Rochester, NY Re-awakening Wonder Conference CDs are available now here.
Chesterton and the Romance of Orthodoxy by William Oddie available here.

I just listened to podcast #10. I thoroughly enjoyed both interviews. I also really liked the guitar music played as the intro. Given your recommendation and reading from Dr. Oddie's new book, I guess I'll have to order it from the ACS soon. Finally, I've been hoping that the ACS would do something with the Gilbert web site. It would be especially nice if we could get at least some articles from the magazine on-line. All in all, a great podcast!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob!
ReplyDeleteThere are some links on the current Gilbert Mag site, so you can read one of mine, for example, and one of a few others. But....great things expected for the new and improved web site. Pray for us to do a good job!
And you won't be sorry if you order Oddie's book, really, it's SOOOOoooooo good.
