Conference Reminder
I am reminded by an alert reader (thanks, Mark!) that there is only two months til...ChesterCon09! Get your room reservations in now, and get the banquet tickets before they run out, and get the pre-conference pricing for the conference. Plenty to do, hear, and see, so get planning! (If you're already registered, good for you!

I have some unfortunate news. I won't be able to attend the conference this year. I had been planning to make my first conference, but circumstances dictate otherwise. Namely, three unexpected auto repair expenses that cropped up within a six-week span that vacuumed up my finances.
ReplyDeleteI hope to make a future conference, wherever it may be. But, this year was just not meant to be for me.
What a bummer, Trub. But you know you will still be there. We always drink a toast to all Chestertonians everywhere, which means you.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the auto repairs (my "check engine" light is on now, and I am just waiting for it to go off by itself...) I sympathize.

I won't be going to the conference either. My recent physical at the local hospital included a check of my blood sugar levels. I got the news from my doctor on Friday the 5th.

And there's a lot of it on my mom's side of the family. And all this before my 46th birthday on the 9th. *bangs head on desk over and over*
So I'll be concentrating on getting this under control and staying healthy. Please pray for me that I do, and please ask Dale and all the other Chestertonians to pray for me for a miracle.
