Prayer to Sts. Cosmas and Damian, Patrons of Surgeons
ReplyDeleteDear twin brothers, you both died as witnesses to the Lord you loved. Sometimes you miraculously healed the ailing bodies of your fellow human beings. You also managed to cure the souls that suffered from unbelief and sin. Help surgeons in their delicate work, especially when there exists more danger than usual. Remind them to invoke often the Lord of Life while not forgetting to do their part to save or better the lives of their patients. Amen.
